If you’re worried about not being able to find quality short films on your own, fret not. We have people and resources that do just that. In fact, we always have more material to write about than we have time to write it. The position comes with a few perks: advanced film screenings, invitations to industry events, participation in SOTW events and contests, and the chance to connect with talented filmmakers. Responsibilities will include reviewing short films, interviewing filmmakers, and general outreach and research. You will be expected to contribute at least one post per week. This is not a paid position—we all run on passion—but good things can (and have) come to those who dedicate time and energy to this position. * Responses to the first paragraph should be: 1) talented 2) thoughtful 3) new genres, formats, funding or distribution methods 4) smart **UPDATE** For writers who still wish to apply, we’ll continue  accepting applications on an ongoing basis. However, replies will be limited to selected applicants only.
