Hold-tight! Russian filmmaker Ilya Naishuller is jumping back into the world of the POV music video with this explosive short-film for The Weeknd’s False Alarm.

Following a group of bank robbers as they try to shoot their way out of their latest heist, Naishuller takes his audience on a thrill ride featuring non-stop gunfire and high-speed chases, all told through his distinct first-person shoot-em-up style.

Since first featuring Naishuller’s Bad Motherfucker video for Biting Elbows (the director is also a member of the band) back in 2013, the action-packed promo has amassed over 30-million views on YouTube and led the Russian filmmaker to direct the ‘world’s first feature length action POV film’ Hardcore Henry.

What next for Naishuller? Personally I’ve got my fingers crossed he translates his distinct brand of filmmaking to the world of Virtual Reality – it seems a perfect fit!
