For the online fashion outlet Nowness, Eva Weber takes a look at Lapland’s reindeer herders in this quiet observational film.

Braving minus 18 degree C weather, the wordless short showcases the beauty and majesty of the beasts which are more familiar in story form than in real-life, while also paying mind to the rugged Finlanders who raise them.

Eva is an interesting new documentary talent from the UK, her intriguing new project The Solitary Life of Cranes is something I very much look forward to.
