To take part, you need to pack a story into a film that’s just 60 seconds on the theme “A Cause for Celebration”. It’s short, but, as someone who’s done a dozen or so of these super short films myself, it’s a fantastic exercise in learning the essentials of storytelling.
Entries will be judged by an illustrious all-female panel including Billie Lourd (Star Wars), Laura Dern, Sharon Badal (Tribeca programmer), and others. Submissions are open now and run through April 5, 2018 and the winner will be announced at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 16, 2018.
