Haven’t seen many in the category, but here’s pulling for “Instead of Abracadabra”, one of the few short films I made a point to share with my GF. She loved it and she doesn’t even like film. Chimay!

Man, French Roast, The Lady and the Reaper and Logorama are all awesome! One of those need to win.
A Matter of Loaf and Death is a solid, entertaining story, but I’ve got to tip my hat to Logorama for originality. I don’t doubt the winner will be one of these two. It’ll be an interesting “tell” as to what type of film the academy favors—a traditional story or an original idea.
