Combo

Street artist Blu animates large-scale creatures as they crawl across an abandoned Argentine cityscape.

Another one of our reviews from this last week that have disappeared, Combo is another round of surreal stop-motion from last year’s SotW favorite artist, Muto’s Blu. This time he garners the help of David Ellis to create more complex, but less dynamic compositions. The “Holy S**T!” factor is now diminished after Muto, but the technique is still impressive enough deserve attention. This time the inclusion of the artists in the piece grants a welcome peek into the production process.
