Sweet Dreams

A cupcake escapes a city of sweets and is marooned on an island of vegetables where he learns to reform his destructive ways in this tasty stop-motion from the talented Kirsten Lepore.

For your consideration, Sweet Dreams, a totally awesome stop-motion starring a cupcake! Cupcakes are really hot right now it seems, at least here in Seattle. This was Kirsten Lepore’s BFA project in 2007, she is a rising star and best of all very web-friendly.

Check out more of her work at her website, as well as recent interviews at Illustrationmundo and Frederator. Also she put up a timelapse of some her work for the film here. Told you she’s web-friendly!

A heartwarming story with nutritional value! Was there a significant reason the cupcake didn’t put his wrapper/clothing back on? Maybe he felt more comfortable.

Hahaha. I think its because he discovered his authentic and true self with those raw veggies.
