Vimeo Festival + Awards 2012 Winners!

FestivalOnline Program / June 8, 2012

Following the smashing success of their inaugural festival back in 2010, Vimeo once again called on digital filmmakers from around the world to submit their work. The best of which were honored at last night’s award festival with $5,000 grants and $25,000 for the grand prize. Who took home the top prizes? If you follow the online film world as closely as we do, there won’t be any surprises. But it’s a strong set of films nonetheless—worth a second look if you missed them the first time around.

I like all the choices except for the lyrical category.  “A story for tomorrow” really should have won that.
