Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog

Neil Patrick Harris owes his recent success to his role as an awkward villain vying to make his mark on the world in this breakout web hit from comedy master Joss Whedon.

Sometimes I come across a great story worth sharing that doesn’t fit our definition of short film. At a full 42 minutes, Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is just that. The story itself is an odd genre mix, let’s see if I can get it all: It’s a 3-part web series, super hero-themed, blog-based, rock musical. Neil Patrick Harris has his hands deep in exploring new forms of comedy. Give it a look-see. And give it time to grow. The first 10 minutes are slow, but then it really picks up.
