Not properly a short film, having no narrative, This is Where We Live has to settle for Short of the Moment status rather than getting a full review. A brilliant stop-motion promo commissioned by the publishing house 4th Estate on the occasion of their 25th birthday, the video adapts books into cityscapes, as we are guided on a lyrical tour of literature and geography. Short and reeeally purdy. Apt Studios is responsible, and as a supplement, gets onboard with what i feel is the greatest of Vimeo trends—time lapses!!
